Queens Nest Farms Pty Ltd, spearheaded by Adelaide Yolanda Klow, an Agri-Prauner with a passion for sustainability, emerged in 2019 and commenced operations in 2020 amidst the tumultuous landscape of the COVID-19 pandemic. Situated on a sprawling 22-hectare farm in Tarlton, Johannesburg, the journey of Queens Nest Farms symbolizes resilience and commitment to promoting healthy food production practices and environmental stewardship.
In 2021 we were part of the first group of female farmers that planted Chilli for the Nandos group through Made with Rural as the Agrigator
Organic farming principles, including natural fertilizers and pest control methods, are central to their operations, fostering soil health and minimizing the introduction of harmful chemicals into the environment. Moreover, Queens Nest Farms champions the adoption of green energy, employing renewable sources such as solar power to curtail their carbon footprint and ensure long-term sustainability.

Cultivation of various organic crops such as vegetables, grains, and herbs without the use of synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, or genetically modified organisms (GMOs).

Our free-range chickens roam freely, producing delicious eggs and tender meat. With ample space and natural diets, our poultry is raised ethically, resulting in rich, flavorful eggs and succulent chicken.

Agri-processing encompasses a wide range of activities across different sectors of the food and agricultural industry, including but not limited to milling, grinding, canning, freezing, drying, and packaging.

Seedling production refers to the process of growing young plants from seeds in controlled environments, typically in nurseries or specialized facilities.
